Apollo

APOLLO is a state-of-the-art optimisation program for structured financial transactions that involve either pure equity, or a mixture of debt and equity funding.

APOLLO is extremely flexible. Constraints can be imposed on the amounts provided by, and the servicing of, each individual debt participant. Additionally, each individual equity participant can have its own method of analysis, tax regime and constraints on amounts of taxable income used or generated.

Based on linear (and when appropriate, integer) programming techniques, APOLLO guarantees the optimal solution to whatever problem is framed by the user. Input is through an extremely user-friendly frontend.

APOLLO has the ability to simultaneously optimize the position of multiple equity participants and debt parties.

Additional features of APOLLO are:

• ability to optimize complicated rental structures
• evaluation of equity participant's return by either the IRR, MISF, Dual Rate of Return or Actuarial Rate of Return methods of analysis
• ability for equity participants to include a direct charge for tax shelter usage in their pricing and in particular to model the CBA method
• daily or monthly yield analysis
• debt repayments can be either fully optimized or structured to the user's specific requirements
• implementation of both German and Japanese taxation systems. In particular, all of the trade and capital taxes are implemented for Germany
• tax regimes maintained by the user allowing up to fifteen tax instalments to be specified for any financial period
