Intelligent Financial Systems (IFS) is a consultancy and software house established in 1990 that specialises in sophisticated financial analysis and optimisation based on mathematical programming techniques.
IFS is a joint venture between:- FinancialMaths, a consultancy specialising in structured finance established by
Dr Les Gordon in 1986. - Intelligent Energy Systems, a software and consultancy house specialising in
mathematical modelling and optimisation established by Hugh Bannister in 1983.
By drawing on the complementary expertise of these specialist firms, IFS has been able to establish a powerful synergy for developing sophisticated financial analysis tools.
The principal product of IFS is APOLLO, an optimising package for structured finance transactions that is recognised as the market leader in Australia. It is currently licensed by leading financial institutions including NAB, ANZ and CBA.
